THE SNEAKER CLINIC

Services Provided

The Sneaker Clinic provides professional footwear cleaning, restoration, repair, repainting, sole whitening, dyeing, deodorising, and related aftercare services.

Each pair is carefully assessed based on its material, age, condition, and the treatment required. All services are carried out with attention, care, and skill, with the aim of achieving the best possible result for every item entrusted to us.

We reserve the right to decline work on any item where the condition, material, or level of damage makes treatment unsuitable or too high risk.

Payment Terms

Prices may vary depending on the condition of the footwear and the level of work required. Restoration and repair services are quoted individually where appropriate, as the amount of work needed can differ from pair to pair.

Any express service, collection service, return delivery, or additional treatment may be charged separately.

The Sneaker Clinic reserves the right to withhold return of an item until payment has been received in full.

Condition of Footwear

By submitting footwear to The Sneaker Clinic, customers acknowledge that results will naturally vary depending on the age, condition, material, construction, and previous treatment of the item.

While we always aim to achieve the highest possible standard, not all stains, marks, yellowing, odours, scuffs, discolouration, or damage can be fully removed. In some cases, treatment may reveal underlying weaknesses already present within the footwear, including issues with stitching, glue, paint, fabric, or structure.

The Sneaker Clinic is not liable for problems arising from pre existing wear, general ageing, manufacturer defects, prior repairs, weakened materials, or natural deterioration.

Luxury and High End Footwear

Luxury, designer, vintage, and high end footwear often involve delicate materials and specialist finishes, including suede, nubuck, mesh, leather, painted surfaces, and other sensitive fabrics.

These items are handled with great care. However, due to the nature of such materials, certain changes in texture, softness, finish, or appearance may occur during treatment despite careful handling.

By submitting luxury or delicate footwear, customers accept the inherent risks associated with cleaning and restoration of such materials.

Repairs and Restoration Services

Repair and restoration services may include repainting, reglueing, sole whitening, de yellowing, colour correction, dyeing, sole work, and structural improvements.

These services are intended to improve the appearance and condition of the footwear as far as reasonably possible. However, due to the nature of worn or damaged footwear, no repair or restoration can be guaranteed to be permanent.

The longevity of any repair, repaint, glue work, dye work, or restoration depends on the age, structure, material, wear, and future use of the footwear. Exact colour matching cannot always be achieved, and results may vary from pair to pair.

Results and Expectations

The Sneaker Clinic takes pride in delivering high quality results and always aims to restore each pair as far as reasonably possible.

However, customers understand that every pair is different, and outcomes cannot be identical or guaranteed. Some flaws may remain visible after treatment, particularly where footwear is heavily worn, aged, delicate, or previously repaired.

Use of our services means acceptance that cleaning, repair, and restoration are improvement based services rather than a promise of complete renewal.

Turnaround Times

Turnaround times provided by The Sneaker Clinic are estimates only. They may vary depending on workload, material type, drying time, footwear condition, seasonal demand, or unforeseen circumstances.

Where possible, any significant delay will be communicated, but turnaround times are not guaranteed.

Sending Footwear to Us

Customers who choose to send footwear to The Sneaker Clinic by post do so at their own risk. We strongly recommend using a tracked, signed for, and insured delivery service.

The Sneaker Clinic is not responsible for any item that is lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, or misdelivered before it has been physically received by us.

Any claim relating to a parcel sent to us must be made directly with the courier or postal provider used.

Return Delivery

Where The Sneaker Clinic arranges return delivery, the item will be dispatched using the delivery method selected by us or agreed with the customer.

Once the item has been dispatched, responsibility for the parcel passes to the customer. The Sneaker Clinic is not liable for parcels that are lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdelivered, or missing in transit or after delivery.

This includes parcels marked as delivered by the courier but later reported as stolen, not received, missing, taken from a doorstep, left in a safe place, delivered to a neighbour, or otherwise unavailable after delivery.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is correct and secure. Any issue relating to a parcel after dispatch or marked delivery must be raised directly with the relevant courier or postal provider.

Collection and Storage Policy

Customers must collect their footwear within 14 days of being notified that the service is complete, unless another arrangement has been agreed.

Footwear left uncollected after 30 days may incur storage charges. Items left uncollected after 60 days may be resold, disposed of, or otherwise dealt with in order to recover service and storage costs.

Cancellations and Refunds

No refund will be issued once cleaning, repair, or restoration work has begun.

If a cancellation is requested before work starts, any refund will be at the discretion of The Sneaker Clinic.

Refunds will not be provided purely on the basis of dissatisfaction where the service has been carried out with reasonable care and skill and the result has been affected by the item’s age, material, condition, or pre existing damage.

Refusal of Service

The Sneaker Clinic reserves the right to refuse service for any item that is excessively damaged, unsafe to handle, heavily soiled, unsuitable for treatment, or suspected to be counterfeit.

Limitation of Liability

The Sneaker Clinic takes reasonable care and professional precautions when handling, cleaning, restoring, and repairing footwear.

By using our services, customers acknowledge that footwear care and restoration involve inherent risk, particularly where items are aged, delicate, heavily worn, or previously repaired.

The Sneaker Clinic is not liable for pre existing damage, natural wear, weak glue, sole separation, fragile materials, manufacturer defects, colour fading, prior repair issues, or changes caused by the underlying condition of the footwear.

In the unlikely event that damage occurs solely as a direct result of our service, our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the service carried out on that specific pair.

The Sneaker Clinic is not liable for retail value, resale value, market value, collector value, sentimental value, loss of resale opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Amendments

The Sneaker Clinic reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised version.

Acceptance

By booking with The Sneaker Clinic, making payment, handing over footwear, or sending footwear to us, customers confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
